Clea (Clay-Uh)‍ ‍

is a writer, director and producer based in LA & NYC. Her work skews towards the absurd and surreal, often centering women grappling with obsession, transition, and heartbreak in disturbing and delightful ways. 

Clea has worked as a showrunner’s assistant for Graham Yost (Silo, Justified) and Joe Weisberg and Joel Fields (The Americans, The Patient) and was recently staffed on the ABC sitcom Shifting Gears. She’s in development on a TV series with FilmNation, and recently directed an episode of the indie series Switch starring Pauline Chalamet and Coral Peña, which will premiere at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival.

Clea’s digital series Following Hannah Stone, which she wrote, directed and produced, played Bentonville Film Festival, Stareable Fest, LA Indie Film Fest, won ‘Best Web Series’ at Big Apple Film Festival.

Clea was a member of WIF’s Emerging Producer Program and has produced multiple films like the shorts Daddy’s Girl (Sundance, SXSW, Palm Springs ShortsFest) and Class (Austin After Dark, Dances with Films), the upcoming horror feature The Threshing, and music videos and branded content for places like RedBull, Nuri Sardines and Betches.
